I use snort and Amethyst to zap. Click the zap icon by the like icon. Zaps have the benefit of showing a running total in the client, and Amethyst gives me a notification of who zapped me on which post. Pretty cool!

Imagine if you have a wallet giving like $5 in it divided into satoshis. Instead of getting likes for good content, you can zap people 10 sats which is fraction of a penny.
