I’m trying to rebuild #Plume to use with Postgres, taken my backups and prayed
This will either go super easy or super painful
error: failed to compile plume v0.7.3-dev (/home/plume/Plume), intermediate artifacts can be found at /home/plume/Plume/target
Caused by:
package time-core v0.1.1 cannot be built because it requires rustc 1.65.0 or newer, while the currently active rustc version is 1.64.0-nightly
Well fuck
He sits like this quite regularly, this is one of the few times he's decided to get around to a bit of grooming in this yoga posture ![]()
I think I need to really get back and revisit the #Plume database thing. I’ve discovered when I have write errors because SQLite does one thing at a time, I manage to break the whole post and it doesn’t show on the homepage.
I also imagine this is a symptom of both more traffic and also the database growing in size. Each of these problems would of course be better managed with PostgreSQL
A new #Plume server has discovered mine, but since I’m having a weird database issue it means when I try to post I risk breaking my entry. So just got to wait for it to get my 7k articles
Very dated technology as you can see

It still has Google+ installed and a load of notifications stored up from when I stopped using it

Ok so I think I did a thing right to add a seperate feed for my blog posts depending on the language
Literally just sitting here waiting for my connection to saturate
In celebration I made a page totally not making fun of Xlon Xusk oh.mg/x/ that is 100% hosted on my now not going to be disconnected internet
It hasn’t fully set in yet, but one of my friends covered my internet bill this month so I’m caught up again. Won’t need to suffer a 10-15 day disconnection again and I won’t have to pay a late charge
#LiveJournal Remember what you wrote on this day, 7 Août, in the past
An interesting one from 22 (!) years ago when I just rambled about my existence because the internet didn’t suck.

There is currently a pigeon making their lives interesting. Jarod is talking at it, trying to convince it to just come down for a chat ![]()
I’m having a life crisis, I’m not happy with any of my internet presence (again). I don’t know what I want or how I want it to be. I let a lot of my domains expire (lol poor) but I still have my special core ones and I want them to all be loved equally
15km walk on a shonky leg with 10kg of shopping for the last 5km 🥲🔫 ![]()
Another part of this crisis is that I like the idea of what I was doing with gemini, but the main issue here is that hosting from my house when my internet is terminated every month for 10-15 days is a problem. Not just for my sanity, but also for reliability
