18 hours is all it took for Threads to throw racism in to my feed, for the absolute first time it was in French. I follow mainly (99%) Spanish and English speakers, so getting it in French was unexpected and ultra specific
Samy is looking out the window like he wants to go outside, so I let him out, he had a good five minutes before he decided 1° was not his working temperature and came back. He’s now looking out of the window again
I setup my threads account because there are a few people who migrated there I follow. For the most part, Threads sucks, but there is only one thing I can say is a positive - automatic alt text - while not perfect is better than nothing and ish accurate. Obvs robbing data for AI “art”
I never quite understood why my phone outside on the terrace in the pitch black is always lit up like it’s midday. I just found out why when my outdoor cat cam reset. Infrared light, obviously 🥴

While Jarod is sleeping I thought I’d be nice and spend some time with Samy in the dark outside. I popped him out the door, went to organise my things to go out, and as soon as I pass through the door myself, I realise, I just pushed my cat out in to the rain like an asshole
I’ve had a couple days of paralysing dread that basically kept me in bed and awake all night. Right now, seem to be snapping out of it a bit because of some moderately good news (still not employed). All it takes is a small 1/3rd success
