ASML makes lithography machines. These machines print the patterns on semiconductor wafers. The smaller the patterns, the harder it is to print. ASML makes the machines that can print the smallest patterns. They have no competition.
Fun fact, these lithography machines are the most expensive manufactured products ever built and sold, going for $150 million and up each!
