The Dragon’s Prophecy. By Jonathan Cahn. (Not perfect in his analysis, but a very worthy read.)

GM Nostr. Enjoy your family, don’t ever take them for granted.

“Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:” Jeremiah 3:14

Yeah, I’m struggling to get Alby to even work. My primary tools are a smart phone and an IPad.

Swimming the river of Time.

“So, let’s imagine for a moment you are in a river, standing there, maybe fly fishing, looking for a beautiful river rock, or just enjoying the moment. The cool, soothing mountain water is flowing over your feet and around your legs, like time. It just keeps going nonstop. What just touched you is already several feet downriver. You can enjoy each molecule of water that touches your skin for only the briefest of seconds, really milliseconds, and the moment is all over and can never be revisited. It’s really amazing to think about.

Now, imagine that that water is time and flowing right past you at a very measured rate, and you will only get to live each moment for the briefest of milliseconds. Wow, I think to myself. Time is a precious commodity and I should spend it cautiously and carefully with a lot of purpose.”

I love the ideas of “our” nostr, “our” relays, “our” Bitcoin.

But I just have to ask, are they really “ours” if we need “their” internet.

In a community where there are lots of WI-FI routers broadcasting all over the place. Why can’t we reprogram everything and have “our” internet. We have the equipment! Why should we have to PAY for “their” internet?

With “our” Nostr, “our” relays, “our” bitcoin, and “our” internet, that makes it one step closer to impossible for any government to shut down.

GM Nostr. Do something nice for someone who doesn’t expect it.

Beyond Good and Evil by Friedrich Nietzsche.

Thoughts on chapter 2.

Nietzsche is Dead!

First, as for Christianity. Nietzsche brings up some of the problems with religion, I would argue that he didn’t know true religion. What Nietzsche is looking at is the smorgasbord of broken religions, not the real deal. I don’t believe he actually studies to know real Christianity. This to say that Christianity is sacrifice, while there’s truth there, his perspective of what should be sacrificed is wrong.

It is real or true religion that allows Nietzsche to express his opinion, it is the real or true freedom that is brought about by true religion. It is only true religion that fully embraces logic and science. All else is make believe.

He assumes that knowledge is spontaneous or just happens, and that philosophers, through their truth to power, are expressing that which is only their truth. Because there is no real truth.

However, I would counter that there is a stream of wisdom or knowledge that has been flowing from before the beginning of time till now, and will continue to flow till the end of time. All one has to do is open up to the book of Proverbs and see that what was reasonable four thousand years ago is still just as fresh and true today. And all we have to do is tap into that stream. Of course the “true” philosophers don’t just tap into the stream, they swim in it.

Complete novice, but yes, and I haven’t lost any digits, yet.

Gm Nostr. Remember, don’t leave off problems, solve them as soon as possible. They will only get worse if left alone.

The John the Baptist Moment

“Picture for a moment a small picturesque Middle Eastern town. There is a wall around the town. The houses are relatively small and maybe single-family dwellings. The roads are simple one-lane dirt roads. Kids are playing in the dusty streets. The market is small but bustling. Herders lead their flocks down the street, taking them out to pasture or the market to sell. Here and there, you might see evidence that this town is under Roman authority. But for the most part, at least for now, the Roman authority is leaving the town to its own devices and not meddling overly much. This town has one central religious meeting place where almost everyone goes.

Can you picture it?”

Me parece que habla.news funciona un poco mejor. Pero solamente es mi opinion.

just a reminder that https://stemstr.app exists and you should maybe use it if you’re a musician

I’d love to try out stemstr, however when I attempt to access it via the brave browser nothing comes up.

“The money powers prey upon the nation in times of peace, and conspire against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption will follow and the money power of the country will endeavor and prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people, until wealth is aggregated into a few hands and the republic is destroyed.” -Abraham Lincoln

GM Nostr. Reach out to a friend that you haven’t spoken to in a while, see how they are doing.
