He's already stealing food and chairs so I think he's feeling pretty good... Though that might just be the pain killers he's on for a week till check up.

I went dirty carnivore (I ate carnivore about 80% of the time and whatever I wanted when out with friends) at the beginning of November and strict carnivore (only meat, dairy with as few ingredients as possible, and eggs) after new years. The improvement to my mental fortitude and health have been fantastic.

After two and a half days of treatment at the vet Toby is back home. And the rest of us are laughing at how tiny he actually is under all that fur.

I'll take my own room without the rest of the nutters from my family, thanks! 😉

So apparently I get to bring him home tomorrow at lunch time 😀🎉🥳

He has two serious conditions. One is his right kidney is in distress due to a blockage and the other is he seems to have the cat equivalent of IBS which gave him diarrhoea which made his kidney bad and was the cause of his hospitalisation for the last few days. And a great cause of concern for the vets and needs to be looked into when he's feeling better. I'm just looking forward to bringing him home tomorrow 😁the house doesn't feel the same without him.

He is gorgeous. He looks like he's aged in the last few days though. His personality is awesome too such a snuggle bug in winter.

No I just started using the money in his account once mine was drained. That's the kind of arrangement we have. I dunno if I could fake the paperwork and I don't look like a Phill 😅🤔

Thanks ☺️... Yeah, if my husband were here he could easily get credit services, I'm an unemployed university student, so I didn't want to test... But he's at work until Wednesday night.

I'm not even surprised. The first overnight was only supposed to cost me $1700 but they said it could go as high as $2300, but I paid $2900. 🙄

After hours vet services are unreal. I do wish Toby had of avoided showing nasty symptoms on a Sunday.

Thanks 😊...

I'm expecting to be able to bring him home tomorrow with another bill for $1K, if it goes over that I'll be borrowing money from a friend until after pay day. This sudden illness is a real drain. *sigh* I'm hoping it's neither cancer nor serious kidney issues, both of which the vet has highlighted as possiblities.

Lucky I love this little fella. Coz far out I've spent a fortune on him in the last few days with more vet fees to come 😞 but that's the thing with pets, you just have to do what you have to do. May I recommend pet insurance to anyone with cats over 9? Apparently, they become old at that age. We never thought we'd have to spend thousands on him over two days and the vets are checking him for conditions with long-term ramifications 😢

Unless he eats and shows the vets he's feeling better in the next few hours, he will be in overnight that will increase the bill by $400-600...

If in the morning he's still not well and hasn't eaten, I may have to transfer him to my local vet for further studies. There was no bowel obstruction or issues in blood but multiple issues with his kidneys and enlarged lymph nodes. Apparently, that could indicate cancer, or could simply be because he was dehydrated then put on fluids for a few hours before they ran the ultrasound. He's 9 and Raggies can live til 15 so I'm hoping that it's the fluids.

On top of a salad yes... But seafood doesn't go on pizza. There's something about baking it on top of a base that is so off-putting to me.

Stir fried and put on pasta yes... But not pizza.
