That is true. Since Tokyo Olympics. Japan have been spamming out skateparks like there is no tomorrow. Not silly little ones either. Proper ones. If you are interested. Check out mbm skateparks on instagram. Build good skateparks and you will get good skateboarders! 👊

I hate that the olymipics has become some kind of outlet for subliminal messaging for the wokey agenda. That’s a huge insult to the individuals that dedicate their lives to being the best at what they do. Not to mention the time and dedication and sacrifices that their families make in order to support them.

I’m on the fence as to if skateboarding should be an Olympic sport or not. Whilst it gets some great exposure and will attract many extra people to it. Skateboarding is not a sport. It’s an art. IMHO anyway.

Is there much adoption in SE Asia? Not been over that way since pre Bitcoin.

Tbh. It’s pretty disappointing each year. This year, all I have seen is a Bitcoin sticker on a kebab shop front in Shibuya! Apart from that. Nothing! Still… I am hoping to find some positive orange shoots later in my trip. Next destination is Okinawa. Will keep you posted !!

Definitely. I’m looking out for the best place to be when that really starts to happen! Wherever it is will definitely be away from a city, close to nature and preferably a beach!
