Even though it may be a tough listen, sometimes it's good to hear dissenting opinions.

Echo chambers tend to sound like a cult after a while..

Idea for AI use case: yearly company benefits webinar is presented by an AI avatar while answering questions on chat simultaneously.

I'm keeping this thought by nostr:nprofile1qqsgjeljjrx8wj0a853jldc3pszakar2x87wqc66amzwzydd307gzrgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhs76nq3t (summary below courtesy of an LLM):

"Bitcoin development should prioritize scaling solutions to enable widespread self-custody, ensuring everyone *can* self-custody, even if they don't. While scalability is vital, the primary focus ("north star") must remain preserving the protocol's sanctity and security, which should never be compromised. Scaling should aim to maximize accessibility, giving everyone the option to achieve self-sovereignty."

This episode is so enjoyable. Also it helped me discover a brilliant podcast. #thumbsUp 👍 #infrastructure #it

I listened to episode 156 of the #DarkNetDiaries. Shocking 🤯 https://fountain.fm/episode/4phALiwFDWh8yHrpjAi7

In the process of data and app move while changing laptops, I've had to launch daedalus node and patiently wait for it to synchronise before sending some leftover ADA to sell (yes, I'm a sinner 😇).

The node software latest version requires 24GB of RAM (32GB recommended). 😳 Fortunately it has a mode for systems with less memory.

Ngl, I can't wait for it to finish (it's taking ages!) so I can be done with hosting my own cardano node. So much for scalability! #cardano #ada #bitcoin #homenode #blockchain

Underrated feature on Nostr clients: automatic translation.

"Bitcoin is in many aspects like gold and Fedwire wrapped into one system, but decentralised and open source." (Lyn Alden, "Broken Money")

I like to see how software works and understand its configuration files.

But if I can save time by using a GUI afterwards (perhaps on a Web browser), I will make the best of it.

Each, in my opinion, has its place.

Learning a bit about life in Alaska and the sense of community and freedom there. It makes something like monero more relevant. 👍

I'm so looking forward to the Christmas break. Hopefully some quiet times to think about what I want to do next (in my spare time).

LinkedIn became Facebook while I wasn't watching. When did this happen?

I dread the day when they implement games.

Fuck, after watching the #BuyNow documentary on Netflix I am a disbeliever. #BuyNow #lyingLabels

Time to buy a new laptop. Window shopping on #Apple store site, perhaps they would offer some money if I traded in my current Mac book pro.

Alas, it's too old (late 2013) and they would only "recycle" (for free). 🙄

El punto clave que se menciona es que las necesidades del usuario importan para la gama y modelo elegidos.

Mi Mac book pro tiene 11 años y ya llevo unos meses pensando en reemplazarlo.
