Yes, the best option is to do it locally with a client, I didn't know any, and the javascript used for it could also be downloaded and run offline.

My skills as a programmer don't reach them yet, but I will look for a way to enable them.

One some clients I seem to have the blue tick and on others I don't.

Doublecheck the pubkey you put on your web server, it seems to be wrong, you need to fill it in hexadecimal format
