I was just thinking, in the US, Canada, Ect. Zaps are awesome but not financially life changing, however I’ve met some people here where if they get 100k sats, that is a whole months paycheck to them.

If you spend enough time away from something (i.e. cigarettes, porn, weed, social media, fast food, sugary soda, alcohol etc) and come back to it later it'll trigger a disgust reflex within you and you'll realize how damaging it was to your mental and physical health.

This is an academic thread. The first principle in any academic search is to differrentiate between association and causation.

An assocation means to things look related. It may be causing each other, it may be not.

For example, look at the first image. At one glance, you may think that if you eat more margarine, you are more likely to get a divorce. however, this association sounds ridicolous (obviously) and the causation is doubtful.

unfortunately, such association occur in our everyday lives. we see event A, we see event B, we conclude that they are related. but they are not. to determine if an association is causation, we look at the 11 rule of bradford-hill criteria. see image 2.

Most scientific studies in Europe are written in English. The language of scientists in Europe is mostly English. Simply because the members of many teams are international. English is the language that has been agreed upon. But their native language is mostly not English

tldr; the publication bias towards "non-english" goes beyond just the language of the scientific discovery, there are also biasness towards non english author / scientists, even if the author speaks perfect english.

so the problem isnt about "there is no science beyond english", but rather, " science in non english publication are often neglected"
