Learned this morning that my aunt in France passed away, so that hasn't been helping my mood. It was expected, as she wasn't doing well, but of course it still sucks.

What hits me the most about these deaths in the family is the reminder of mortality and unresolved issues with my parents. This has always been the heaviest weight that I try to deal with. I can deal with it pretty well most of the time, but it's still a burden to carry.
