yea when that whole debacle went down - I said to myself - sure am glad I don't have money in Swan - just spidey senses tingling but it's probably nothing
probably just me - I feel like Cory spits out a bunch of big words here in regards to the person running the trading - this clip makes him sound very nonchalant about how this runs and that is a why I am uneasy and won't be using swan any time soon
there's just something about swan that makes me uneasy...
it certainly looks it - while I am a bit jealous I don't think a table is in my future. there is hope though I would probably play to much!
I think bitcoin would be better served by having 2 billion people benefiting from it tomorrow vs 20000 future
longterm hodlers?
I am becoming more and more convinced that the fastest way to onboard more and more people to bitcoin is through incentives that are completely different from the inventives we have all grown up with. I really believe we can share in the future price appreciation of bitcoin with those that pay us-this seems as though it would create an entirely positive incentive for out customers to do business with us othet than because they should hate our government or current systems feel like people are greedy and evil because of the perverse incentives brought about by the current moneymean the reason the federal reserve had to even exist is because of the current system for our moneywe have to try something else before it's too late.... and Whitney Webb's future becomes our shared reality!
I am going to keep putting this out here - I believe growing the network quickly is going to be one of the best methods to ensure its stability over the long run… we have to increase demand for usage from the masses in order to help drive usage and security.
so if "state" actors really want to slow the adoption of bitcoin they would be best served through controlling inflation .... which is a pipe dream we all know they can't do! this is just one reason to be bullish on Bitcoin!
hey everyone - i feel like i missed something last night?? why are so many people hungover this morning?
I am going to figure out and then attempt to convince all bitcoiners that HODLing is not the best policy and how we can go exponential by "incentivizing" usage through shared access to fiat price appreciation of btc.
Yea - looks good and like fish cake said - some links seem to take a little longer to load but otherwise it's good.
Holy holy holy touching tips to bumping dicks!!! That is going to be a classic -
if I can come up with an equation that shows that “providing an incentive for using bitcoin as payment by retaining an interest in any price appreciation for the bitcoin paid for variable periods of time after payment” would it be worth it? I have ran this idea past a bunch of peeps and have not found a lot of traction??? I still think it makes sense but the maxi crew on CH seemed uninterested until I was running my own node (which I am now??? I think) and set up btcpayserver which I haven’t done yet because of the issues i have read about? it just seems to me that enticing customers to pay with btc and giving them an interest in possible forward appreciation of price would onboard more to Bitcoin and strengthen the network…it probably has to happen on lightening due to the costs but larger purchases could be layer 1?
I'll give you - it's ddifferent bbut not scrolling all day
Is it just me or is it weird how everyone wants business and growth until they get business and growth? I mean I want growth and I have to keep reminding myself to not be overly upset by it…it is better than the opposite!
