I missed this when it came out like two months ago (I'm ready for some good Nostr algorithms). Good meme!

In good translations the "he" is italicized, meaning the translators added it, for clarity. It is not in the original Greek. Jesus actually just said "I Am," the same name that God goes by (see Exodus 3:14).

No, actually they were allowed to eat apples, and fruit from all of the other trees, except one. They had ONE rule, and they broke it. So they were banished for disobedience. They failed the test.

What is the source of your information?

I started listening to the Song of Solomon again today as part of my daily Bible auditing and I realized this is a romance novel contained within the Bible (which means book of books). I've never read them, but I imagine this is an ancient version of what romance novels are like. Today it would have a cover picture of a hunky Fabio-looking Solomon rapturously embracing the Shulammite woman...

Oh the depth and wonder of the riches of God that He would include reading even for the single and never married woman, those "missed blessings," within His Book! 😄

I'm sure it's different for all of us, since we all come from different backgrounds and experiences. There's no one "magic bullet" or single red pill; it varies for each person. And it seems some people never snap out of it.

My father bucked the trend from what was typical and it helped instill a contrarian and independent streak in me. Disillusionment with politics over the years and discovering libertarian and anarchist/voluntaryist thought has also helped me to see through the lies. And lots of reading, too, about the CIA, NSA and FBI (the sources of the psyops perpetrated on us now), their assassinations of JFK, RFK, MLK Jr. (and many, many others overseas). In college I realized Lincoln basically became a dictator and subverted the Constitution in prosecuting the "Civil War," which was really the War to Prevent Southern Independence. The South was legally right though wrong morally on slavery (but it was economics, not slavery per se, that started the war). In college I also read a book called "Bitter Fruit" where I learned how the U.S. government overthrew the democratically elected government of Guatemala and installed a repressive dictatorship more amenable to U.S. interests. Then they did it again in Iran, and other countries until failing in Vietnam. With 9/11, I realized Tower 7 was not hit but still fell like a controlled demolition, then I realized we were lied to about 9/11, WMDs, bin Laden, and so much more (Operation Paperclip, Operation Mocking, MKUltra, etc., etc.)

I was still a partisan as late as 2012 but Benghazi helped open my eyes, realizing the media and the regime were working to suppress the news and give disinformation to ensure Obama was reelected. The revelations of nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9 also helped, and confirmed the illegal U.S. government spying I had already suspected. Then seeing how Trump was treated while in office, all the while learning more about the Deep State in the meantime, prepared me for the January 6th and COVID psyops... And again, LewRockwell.com has been a great resource.

How did you "wake up"?

I consult a couple of websites I find helpful, that often aggregate from multiple other websites and blogs:

LewRockwell.com and zerohedge.com

Doug Casey of internationalman.com is also an interesting analyst I pay attention to: https://substack.com/@dougcasey

But prior to all of the current events, you have to get a sense of what's been going on historically to make sense of the present and be able able to see through the lies. That requires a lot of self-education, unlearning indoctrination, an inquisitive mind, and healthy skepticism. That is, you have to take the red pill.

nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z I just discovered that Amethyst supports more accounts! Well, the side menu hides this because it doesn't point out that it is possible to scroll to reach more content!

Here is a quick fix using a gradient and an arrow (that should vanish when the user reach the end of the menu).

I would also move the qr code up near the Profile label, following a principle of proximity.

Excellent suggestions.

You really ought to have more followers 😄

I became an anti-vaxxer during COVID, even toward all vaccines (and I know the COVID injection was NOT a vaccine), as I began to study vaccination--the increase in cancers after the polio vaccinations started, after hearing about some 800,000 people in the U.S. who have never been vaccinated for anything and are also healthier than everyone else, and the rise of autism in children...

That is looking awesome! But I don't see there how to add a website to highlight, i.e., how to make new highlights. When I click the menu icon in the upper left, or the highlighter button, nothing happens... (I know, it's still a work in progress) 🤗
