Met this little guy on my run this morning.

You've got to go try it out. It's really good. This is my second time. First time was in Tokyo. Both times there was a long line to get in, but it moves fairly quickly.

Rengeōin, commonly known as Sanjūsangendō, is a Buddhist temple located in Kyoto, Japan. It was founded by the retired Emperor Go-Shirakawa in 1164. The temple's name, Sanjūsangendō, translates to "Hall of Thirty-Three Bays," referring to the long hall's 33 spaces between its columns. The main hall is famous for its architectural design and houses 1001 life-sized statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. These statues, along with the temple's historical significance and architectural beauty, attract visitors from around the world. Unfortunately, camera's aren't allowed inside the temple, but here are a few outside pics.
