Now most wealth is a number on a screen. The number represents a contract with a bank. The contract is a derivative that gives you the benefit of ownership of something in the physical world.
Total wealth has increased massively, but physical things haven’t.
One day there will be a reconciliation of ownership of physical things to the fiat wealth that exists in the databases of banks.
