Europe got too expensive for industry to operate relative to just about anywhere else. Tesla is asking european subcontractors to move their ops to the US as electricity costs are still 3 to 4 times higher in EU. The reason for high energy prices are mostly carbon credits, not gas/coal/uranium.

Yeah, we need more carbon taxes in the EU to get more competitive globally. I'm sure the proposed european unified capital market will moon with many companies in bankrupcy being bailed out by the govt like (for example) Siemens Energy. Very sound strategy indeed. nostr:note1crxa2h7sqkt3gak0ulau55ql0kqkqp4yfeltsj7f4hat0es976esxmax8a

Hlavní problémy bytové politiky, zejména dostupnost a kvalita bytového fondu, dlouhodobě přetrvávají a dosavadní plnění cílů koncepcí bydlení k jejich odstranění nevedlo.”

I'd have headaches and be tired all day if I'd "drink a lil" during the day. Not good when you have to sit in front of the screen all day and don't fall asleep.

That said it is interesting to check the mixes, sound design or music I was working on whole day after a beer or two. The analytical side of my brain just waves hands "it's ok, it's fine" and so the repressed emotional side has a go, sometimes making me change a lot of stuff quite radically. When I get back to it sober, it's often a bit of a mess, but the direction is right (more character, cooler, more engaging...).

Excuses :).

Be careful.

So, they want to create an european capital market. CEO of Deutsche Bank was very on-board with that. That's ok I guess. Thing is, these people don't want free markets, they just want to funnel more of other people money into artificially "atractive" things to invest.

"Oh this company is a good investment, because it gets govt subsidies to do dumb and unproductive things dictated by the regulations".

They are envious of US capital market, but what they want is something like chinese capital market.

Of course this is me just making a strawman argument, this will be very free and just market with many truly inovative companies EU is famous for.

I don't trust anyone, esp. politicians. I'm just aligned with what he is saying rn. As long as this condition remains and until he betrays what he's saying here, it's all good with me.

- paper bitcoin remains legal, because it's just a number game in the "well regulated" fiat system, no real danger to the govts, they have unlimited power in this domain

- the real thing however, that's problematic in so many ways and the most wealthy bitcoiner OGs are the most dangerous to the govts too

So I expect increasing attacks on self custody and "direct" transacting in bitcoin (without KYC/travel rules etc.) While the door into the ETFs for pleb-sheep lured by an easy NgU game with no govt harrasment will remain wide open.

So what has better track record predicting bitcoin price movement? Astrology or technical analysis? 🫣😬🤣

On the last 21 meetup in Prague I've heard a guy saying "I don't have kids, but my friends had then in forest KiGa and it SUCKS."

So I'll add this about ours. We'll be probably homeschoolers, we don't vibe with standard schooling system from toddling age. I myself hated it since day one😖

We made it extra hard for us by renting a cottage 40km away from our apartment and from there the KiGa is daily 25 min drive to deep forests around castle Kokořín. We took that "forest Kindergarten" literally. Also it's run by a therapist, so boooo, alternatiiiive!👻

I rented cottage for my kids to run around naked in the summer, now it's more difficult, but still way better than our city apartment.

I share drives with another parents, who are happy to have partner and friends for their kid.

Kiga has a big heated yurt in the hill and down the hill is big house with toilets and space for lunch. Kids wash their dishes after lunch by themselves (they have two buckets for that, with soapy and clean water, and one where they scrape leftovers to feed chickens.)

When kids come, they have morning talk around fireplace outside, little exercise, then all take their backpacks and go to one of four places they have in nearby forest. There they take out big blanket, share some baked snack on the ground, sometimes bake apples over fire they make and play until lunchtime. Now they cleaned pond from snow and can bring skates. They all carry a small thermos, 1m of paracord rope, foam pad for sitting and a knife or a scraper to play with fallen branches and cones.

After lunch they all go to yurt, take out their sleeping bags and some fall asleep to the fairy tales. Especially my 3yo used to sleep for hours until I came, he was so tired from giving morning playing his all.😅

After rest they can do some planned crafts or go back out and roam around yurt's playground, which has sheep on the hill. The village has three families and one tiny road, so apart from falling off something there's no real danger and nowhere to run off.

Little funfact is, that parents drive there in Porsches, minicoopers or new-ish multivans. But the kids are mostly unbelievably dirty, especially in muddy weather they're borderline disgusting and extremely satisfied. 😅

We say a clean kid on Wednesday is a clear sign it wasn't there first two days of the week, because everybody gives up on daily laundering soon. It's pointless, they dig in mud within three minutes after arrival, or at least fall into it.

One of my city mum friends said it's disgusting and she would NEVER let her kid play outside like that. She rather gives him a tablet, because he's otherwise insufferable indoors and she wants him to STFU and play nice or else. Good luck, kiddo. I'll add a photo of kids making a mud slide, ripping their pants and whatever. Daily.

We pick kids up around 4, they're outside playing, having usually a bread with some homemade spread.

One of serious recommendations for parents is to cover interior of your car in plastic 😅

My kids used to go to private KiGa last year, very nice clean house with three teachers on 15 kids. Extremely nice and very expensive. And always were sick😩 Here they built up muscles and immunity, seriously my 4yo has buns on his belly and arms when he flexes. And parents don't send half-ill kids here, because they wouldn't make it through the day, so no endless cycle of nose goo.

We adults know we wouldn't make it daily like the kids. They have so much energy and need to burn it out!

Let them burn it out, people.🫡
