Unfortunately the days of using pseudonyms in meatspace are numbered.

It won't be long before non-trivial numbers of individuals and businesses have augmented reality HUDs that incorporate real-time facial recognition. Hiding behind a pseudonym will become a distant dream.

It feels like people said good night and good morning more when this place was a lot smaller. That, or we’re all just following so many people now that we see those messages less. Either way, it’s bittersweet knowing that this place is growing up so quickly around us, and some of our early experiences here can never be duplicated.
