The kite makers just emailed me photos of my #StudyBitcoin kite and she’s even more impressive than I imagined. Can’t wait to get this orange-pilling beauty in the air!
I’m not a good follow yet.. but I will be one day :)
Keep up the good work Ben!
Satoshi Engineering built tipcards.io that lets you generate tip card sheets & load them up with sats over lightning. It’s open source and you can host it yourself if you want.
I took to the streets of DC with my flashy #StudyBitcoin Halloween costume yesterday and it sparked many interesting conversations. Here are some of the things I learned...
1) I need to work on my Bitcoin elevator pitch! It's really important to have a quick & relatable explanation of what Bitcoin is and the problems it solves when the orange-pilling window of opportunity is short. 😅
2) Many thought I worked for Bitcoin which tells me that they associate it with some kind of corporation or business. I explained that Bitcoin is a global monetary network companies can build on, similar to how a company can be built atop the internet. 🌐
3) Most do not know the difference b/w Bitcoin and the rest of "crypto". 🤦♂️
4) A few thought I was out to sell them something which is understandable given we're bombarded with ads 24/7/365. They seemed surprised when I said I just believed in Bitcoin so much that I spent my time & money to build an elaborate costume just to raise awareness. 😊
5) Handing out tipcards loaded up with real Bitcoin is really fun. My redemption rate so far has been very low, but I think most are too skeptical and need some time to look into it before downloading a strange wallet to get a strangers' free sats. 🤔
6) I'm an introvert who avoids attention like the plague but got pretty comfy walking around in my costume. I even jumped onstage for a costume contest! The only cheers I got came from friends (I lost) but I was happy to have a hundred ppl thinking about Bitcoin for 5 mins. 🕺
7) I got way more positive shout outs than I expected. I got a few fist bumps, honking cars and a few asked for photos. One guy even shouted a price prediction at me🤣
8) It's VERY important NOT to tell people to buy Bitcoin. Someone, somewhere is always trying to sell us something but orange-pilling should be about encouraging others to study & learn. I think if you lead them to the rabbit hole, they'll fall in just like I did. 🐇
While most people will be celebrating Halloween this weekend, many of us Bitcoiners will also be celebrating the 15th year since Satoshi published the Bitcoin Whitepaper.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited about the Bitcoin pump but what excites me more are all of the orange pill opportunities that come with it. As much as we want folks to study bitcoin during the bear markets, sadly the only thing that will spark interest are pumps like these. Be humble & have your orange spill ready!

What better way to spread the word about #Bitcoin this spooky season than to hit the streets in your flashy, over-the-top Bitcoin genesis block costume you spent months hand crafting.

Here’s my first ever book drop in Virginia! I like to keep a few books in the car when I’m out running errands and today I dropped a copy of “21 Lessons: What I’ve Learned From Falling Down the Bitcoin Rabbit Hole” by nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc in a neighborhood in Alexandria. Happy reading!

nostr:npub1s33sw6y2p8kpz2t8avz5feu2n6yvfr6swykrnm2frletd7spnt5qew252p poses that a 1mil bitcoin would be a good place to start with a BTC backed loan but I’m curious how fast the capital flight and demand drop might play out once a spot ETF is approved. 🧐
I’m hesitant to buy my first home because I don’t know how much capital is going to flow from current stores of value (gold, real estate) into #Bitcoin and how much demand might fall when BTC goes mainstream. Perhaps renting to save money and stacking sats until we hit a million bucks is a better strategy before taking a bitcoin loan to buy a home? Does anyone else feel the same or have any thoughts?
Real good Michael! I just watched your entire 2hr interview with Cedric and was bummed it had to end. I’m surprised that was the first i have heard of ya. Keep up the good work! 👏👏
