That's incredible! Happy birthday
Yea I feel that. Kind of a nostalgic feeling of the good old days of not being connected all the time.
Really didn't anticipate that being how it would end up lol I dreamed of having like a Star Trek data pad or like a tricorder. Now we basically have it and I hate it.
Before I discovered Calyx and Graphene I considered going dumb phone life and carrying a Linux laptop around.
If you find any Linux phone that's good I want to know. Graphene gets me close enough to owning my mobile but a true Linux smartphone (that is good) is the goddamn holy grail for me.
I appreciate this take. Thanks for putting it out there.
It couldn't be more transparent how everyone scrambles to say "I stand with..." And from a lot of people who have zero stake in the conflict.
It's always made me feel gross to witness it.
I don't care one bit if they did. What exactly does it change?
The attack vector is almost always a password that's too simple, or reused. Passkeys are pub/priv based and not reused. It's a challenge and response auth versus basic auth. The PIN makes it something you have and something you know so adds another layer of security.
I hate Google too but passkeys are sound.
The price would go up and then some of us would experience slippage. Almost immediately bots would sell it back down.
Prediction: in a few years we’ll increase the Bitcoin block size.
If the reactions to pegged sidechains are so hostile and almost nobody wants to break the 21 million supply cap to pay the miners, we’ll conclude that turning the 1 MB into a 4, 8, 16 or whatever isn’t that bad because at least we understand the tradeoffs and there is no extra complexity involved.
As @peterktodd put it: it’s cheaper to increase the computation costs than to increase the degree of human politics.

No.
Just set up a migration on my git server. Can't stop the signal.
I already had a server but that's probably the biggest thing to figure out.
Space is 62MB because I'm only storing my data. Maintenance was 10 mins to spin up the container, 10 mins to configure it to only allow my NIP-05 domain. I have a script on my proxy server to set up TLS and a reverse proxy. I haven't touched it since.
I can run a relay from my house (I do) and make it look like it's anywhere else in the world (I do).
They can't do shit and I dare them to try.
That 5 for $5 deal was so fire
Idk if I can become any more bullish
