I tried distilled a couple of times but the yeasties were happier in my well water with all of the minerals. Does your tap water have something funky in it that you have to remove with the reverse osmosis?

Nothing much happened today. I sat on my butt for hours. In the car driving. In the stadium at the university. In the rain. Listening to the most Boring speeches ever given. All to see the First Born get her degree. BSN this time. Now I'm tired - being that proud of her takes a lot of energy.

Find some bacillus thuringiensis. It's a bacteria that naturally lives in the dirt, so the animals are exposed to it all the time anyway. Bt infects insect larvae and kills them dead.

Getting ready to build another set of ebb & flow tanks. Wondering if anyone has used Uniseal tank adapters instead of threaded bulkheads? Opinions?

Went out this morning to direct sow the beans. 2 beds. Red kidney, and black. Took 5-y-o grandson with me because he's always willing to help.
I now have 2 beds planted with red AND black beans. He can help sort them out at harvest time.
