In 2021, I tracked C130 Hercules leaving London for Kyiv. Each day from around August, 4 C130's transited between the UK and Ukraine supplying arms to the defunct and Russian sanctioned Ukrainian Military. Russia tried several means since the Maiden Coup in 2014 to ease off the Ukrainian military armaments as to stop the senseless killing in the East of Ukraine.

December 2021 saw the greatest bombing in the 7 years prior in one month, all supplied by NATO. Several thousand Ukrainian citizens fled into Russia (Belogorod Oblast) seeking refuge.

This is one conflict I am well versed in and know the timeline very well.

NATO completely is pushing this war, started the conflicted and forced Russia to act or allow the people of Donbas and Luhansk Oblast get slaughtered.

Ukraine is a captured state in any case. The west funded a coup in 2014 known as the Euro Maiden, which forced the then Ukrainian president to flee the country. Russia took Crimea without firing a single bullet. This is well documented as they just rolled in and took it without any resistance from Ukrainian military.

In 2014, I witnessed the Ukrainians barricade themselves in the town hall after losing the third referendum, and when the Crimeans went to the town hall to kick them out they shot them all from the barricaded windows. This is why Russia then came in.

Russia doesn't "want" Ukraine - it's their cousins. They just don't want NATO and Western influences meddling and breaking the country down. If you actually look at the history, the aid and the assistance Russia STILL GIVES TO UKRAINE even throughout this war, you'll actually realise the truth to this whole mess.

Poland I believe should move a little east. Western Ukraine is technically historically Poland and Poland has taken some land in East of Germany.

Alas, borders is what really fucks up things. Here in Africa, borders have cause many divides and wars that still continue to this day between these groups of people displaced by borders.

The fractalisation of the USSR has created many vectors to be abused. I don't think any former USSR state has been untouched by separatists seeking independence.

BTW Ukraine isn't the only one - there's plenty of "options" or "vectors" for the West to attack Russia. This included Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Hungary, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Serbia - basically anywhere in the former USSR.

You see, in the USSR people could move freely, resettle anywhere etc. kinda like the USA today. However, when the USSR broke apart, these people and their enclaves became minorities in their newly formed countries. This is why you have all sorts of mixed groups in all these places, why these enclaves then seek their own independence and why Russia sees it fit to be the "grandfather" of them ALL and to "help them establish themselves" in their new countries.

Russia wins influence without direct contribution (it actually can't afford to do it) so they give them aid in weapons, gas, oil, resource and other things. And the West funds the other side.
