Yeah they must still have issues.. Iām using Damus with my own node so when zapping the invoice is generated and loads in the external wallet. I think that process all happens in the background with Primalās wallet so you donāt see the Lightning invoice.
It seems to be unreliable. I tried about 10 times and it eventually brought up an invoice to zap youā¦
Star Flash is a universal remote control standard because we have too many proprietary remote controls
Too often you have a TV or device where the remote has been lost or broken and there is no easy replacement, or you end up having 5 or 6 different remote controls on the sitting room table. Why, when we have been standardising on USB chargers for many years now?
This is not about having a universal remote control like Harmony used to make (see it is an old problem), but rather having a standard work across the devices that need to be controlled by a single universal remote control.
The standard requires remote controls to allow voice control, and to use one of three means of wireless comms: Bluetooth, infra-red, and Star Flash. This standard reportedly detects which device a user wants to control, makes the connection, and eases the chore of directing a stream from a set-top box to a display.
Device-makers have been told that televisions and set-top boxes must support the standard, and they've quickly complied: local media report that Chinese consumer electronics outfit Konka has already delivered the first Smart TV capable of handling the universal remote.
Sometimes a simple idea can make a massive difference to consumers, and this one has been needed a long time ago already.

I think this is a good idea but it seems maybe a little late when most devices these days have apps to control them and integration with voice assistant devices so physical remotes are less important. Personally I still prefer to use a physical remote though.
Primalās wallet seems to have had issues for most of the day..
I havenāt looked into Bolt 12 much yet but itās something I want to look into once Iāve finished getting my new node running.
Primalās integrated wallet seems to have been broken for most of the day. I canāt zap Primal users from my node either.
I havenāt been able to zap anyone on Primal for a few hours. I run my own node so I can still zap people using other wallets and can still receive zaps. The integrated custodial wallet is one of the things I personally donāt like about Primal..
GM! Iāve avoided reading a lot of the recent coverage, but from everything Iāve read about the US healthcare system in the past it does generally seem pretty fucked up.
While I think it is just best to try and avoid ending up in any healthcare system, and the system here in Australia has its own issues, the system here has worked for me the times I have needed it.
Haha, it took me a couple of minutes to figure out what was going on too as it doesnāt look like an obvious blur on a solid colour!
Are you following the bot? For me using Damus, this appeared to happen as the images are blurred until they are clicked on for npubs that Iām following (this can be disabled in the settings). Since these are solid colours the blur just looked like a lighter shade of the same colour. Once I followed it all the colours look the same.

Waterproof junction box:
USB-C mount:
5w USB-C solar panel
3.7v Li-ion battery pack:
Important Note about this battery pack: the positive and negative leads were reversed when I compared it to the plug on the Wisblock board. Use a needle to lift the tiny plastic clips at the end of the wire holding the metal leads in place. Then you can pull them out (donāt force it) and slide them back each into the other side. BE SURE TO VERIFY the polarity with the Wisblock plug. You can damage the board if you put it in backwards!

2ā metal washer with 5/8ā hole
Rubber washer with 5/8ā hole
Zip-ties, screws, etc.
A step-bit like this one is SUPER handy to drill the 5/8ā holes in the junction box. I also had to use it to increase the size of the hole in the metal washer since it came with only a 1/2ā hole.

Looks great! Similar parts to one of the solar nodes I built a while ago. I like the use of the USB-C mount and I think I will order some of these myself. I just fed the cable through a gland but it is difficult now if I need to plug it in to a laptop to update firmware. The USB-C mount would make that a lot easier.

The last two summers here have been pretty mild with not a lot of really hot days but this year feels like it will be hotter.
Iām not sure what the bush fire season will be like. Winter was fairly dry so a lot of the grasses are already very dry, but on the other hand there hasnāt been as much growth so maybe not as much to burn. Hopefully it isnāt a bad one.
GM āļøš« Another hot day here today with 38°C predicted. At 6:30am it was already 35°C acording to the environment sensor in my #meshtastic node.
This nostr client must also run under Windows 95 with a 56k dialup connection! š
