The prize fund has now been increased to 250k sats.

Clue No. 3, and a change of tack:

My start is when you rest your rear

My middle you may well mishear

When Prince sings what could not compare

And my end is what you did to esculent fare

The total of European patent cases filed by nChain (and which have published) has now reached 652, the latest one appearing just yesterday. The proven liar and fraud Craig Wright (who can't even code) still features heavily as inventor on many of the applications that are still being pursued. An increasing number of applications are, however, being dropped by either failure to pay a renewal fee or respond to a communication issued by the EPO. Whether this is simply a cost-saving measure as the money gradually runs out or something else is not clear yet.

This now contains 200,000 satoshis. I will be releasing 12 clues over the next few days, weeks or months depending on how much inspiration I get. Beware though, there will be a twist.

Clue No. 2

I’m caught in an umbrella but not in the rain

I fall in Spain and also on the plain

I am always short and never long

I don’t believe but do belong

I’m caught in a lie but not in the truth

I’m at the end but not long in the tooth

Can we also stop calling them Roundtables when the table isn’t round.

Certainly a lot of talent there but it kind of leaves me cold. I do like a bit of pop and prog metal (Elder, BMTH and others) but this isn’t it.

Some people are really superstitious. 888888

Clue #1. I’ve just added another 100,000 sats.

My first is in rain but not in snow

My second was not yesterday but will be tomorrow

My third is in air but not in the ground

My fourth rings true but makes no sound

My final you raise to the power of i pi

To equal the square of imaginary i.

I wrote 12 words in a copy of The Bitcoin Standard 2 years ago. Sadly, the contents remain unclaimed. Maybe I should offer some clues here so someone can win it.

I am working on putting together a response to the grounds of appeal filed earlier this month by nChain's patent attorneys. The grounds are so poorly argued and full of deliberate obfuscation that it's a very difficult to stop myself from being insulting. I must, however, remain professional and gently but firmly point out to the Board of Appeal how the appellant is completely wrong. I might, however, manage to work in a few little mentions of the co-inventor Mr Wright being a proven liar and fraud, not that this makes any difference since the patent is invalid regardless.

Do you have insights, solutions, or success stories that can shape the future of blockchain? Now’s your chance to get your idea onto the stage of the London Blockchain Conference. If you pitch your proposal carefully you might be able to fool Calvin’s minions.

Brilliant article about a deeply odd character with some very based views.
