What one defines as Christianity is vastly different even in their own religion. Humans should respect others based off their humanity alone & seek to find balance. Far too many have died in religious wars.

Yesterday I took my wife to a local coffee shop. We stopped going to the big chain stores like Starbucks. They haven't sold egg nog lattes and oat fudge bars in years and we missed having them around this time of year.

We found this great family run spot near our home, a 10 minute drive, and had the best egg nog latte and oat fudge bar.

It's unfortunate that it is so hard to find small coffee/bakery shops when Starbucks and Tim Horton's is everywhere in the suburbs.

For the last few years I’ve been thinking about how #bitcoin can set me “free”.

As “retirement” looms closer, I’m realizing that having a lot of wealth means being responsible for stewarding it well, and improving the world or lives of those around me.

It’s not about me after all.

Maybe my yearning for “financial freedom” has actually just been selfishness in disguise.

I believe meaning is found in the adoption of responsibility, but there is a childish part of me that wants to shrug off every “ought”.

I’m beginning to accept that if I’m attempting to live a meaningful life and do it the right way, I will never be totally free of responsibilities until the day I die.
