Obligatory 🖕🍏. This is yet again another reason why you should never support them, this isn't the 1st time this has been done and won't be the last. Anybody who values self-determination, privacy, freedom of exchange and speech should be boycotting companies that seek to destroy these principles.
Support mom and pop shops and small businesses like yourself that actually care about these values, don't buy your stuff from Amazon, go to their website and support them without giving a middleman a cut.
We have a beautiful opportunity here on #nostr to build a circular economy that is seamless and painless for the user, anybody who is on the fence about starting a business, just do it! Start selling your eggs, clothing, watches. digital goods, etc on #nostr. We have the tools right here to make it happen or they are being built as we speak. Don't use centralized services like app stores, 3rd party e-commerce sites like Amazon, you don't need their permission to build something great!

Agreed, Derek keep on zapping if you want to make a small statement against Apple. A bigger step is #boycottapple altogether and use products that respect a users self-determination, vote with your wallet. Apple is not your friend, they are just as bad as Microsoft.

Or we can rebuild our fav subreddits on here. We have 2 great clients to do that if people give them a chance and post content.
On Zapddit another Reddit style client they work by hashtag from what I see and by how many zaps a note gets as upvote/downvotes are handled by zaps. nostr:npub1wj9l4p7yx7efg9jdz7ztxf9q6t55jhyzdrsqgn3uw7t28v2ce8vqnuhet9 or nostr:npub1ltx67888tz7lqnxlrg06x234vjnq349tcfyp52r0lstclp548mcqnuz40t would be the best to talk to regarding their implementation and how everything works.
That's why I prefer zapddit with that you can follow specific hashtags which act like subreddits on your feed and you can comment on specific notes within the subreddit. Also has Reddit style comment threading, it's the most Reddity client I have tried. Upvote and downvote on the feed are handled by the amount of zaps a particular note receives and I think likes as well factor in.

My personal preference is Zapddit, but both are excellent. Exit the drama and take the purple pill, our favorite subreddits can be rebuilt here on #nostr
