One thing comes to mind when I hear this—soul. That which cannot be seen, only felt. Only when you are connected with yourself, aligned. That which I truly am, the one who controls this complex machinery. It is what it is.

There are moments when my mind is full of thoughts, one rushing over the other. As soon as I notice, I stop, breathe, and pay attention to each one. I ask myself why each thought is there—what is my brain trying to tell me? Once I understand its intent, my mind falls silent again.

Don’t fight your mind—understand it.

There are small moments I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world, not even for the greatest of riches.

I was talking with my cousin about the things we pursue, the paths we walk throughout life. I couldn’t agree with what he called gold—the thing everyone should strive for. To me, what he sees as gold is nothing but an illusion, just something that shines golden.

For me, gold is the mountaintop, the life worth dying for.

Have you ever stopped to think about what gold truly is?

Could this be the step-by-step guide to achieving a more fulfilling life? 🤔

Many believe there is no step-by-step formula when it comes to being human, while others believe there is. I am among those who believe that:

“Each tree is a unique tree in the world, but a tree will always be a tree.”

And you? What do you believe?

I strive to learn something new every day, without preconceived notions—even if it’s something small, an introduction to a new topic, a curiosity, an observation, anything. I want to train my brain to learn, to make it as natural as breathing.

I know it’s obvious to say this, but people seem to keep forgetting the obvious. I see people around me planting cucumbers and expecting to harvest apples. Sorry to tell you, my friend, but you will harvest cucumbers.

I have learned a lot by observing the things and people around me, and I have learned a lot by looking at myself—my actions, my reactions, my thoughts, my heart, my soul.

Observation is a skill that, in my view, is well worth practicing.

The strange black rabbit, on its path, comes across a strong river. It then stops, sits down, and appreciates the scene.

A small crow appears beside it.

“Don’t you wish to continue your journey?” it asks.

“Yes, not only do I wish to, but I will continue,” the rabbit replies.

“Then why did you stop?”

The strange rabbit looks at the crow and answers:

“Because I want to reach the other side.”

“Do not act based on an impulsive emotion.”

I wanted to create a short story to illustrate Musashi’s message. Did I succeed? 🤔

I continue on my journey, slowly, savoring each moment. Today, I am aware that every moment is unique—it will never happen again. I can’t even describe how valuable that is.

Have you been making the most of every moment?

Silence—I made peace with it long ago. After deciding to listen more than I speak, I began to see more clearly—people, the world, and myself.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 🙆‍♂️ I invite everyone to try it too. 🌱🍃

I once waited for someone to save me. I begged the heavens for help, to be rescued. Until one day, alone, while lamenting the life I had, a thought came to me: “Enough. How long are you going to stay like this?” I believe it was myself speaking to me. I think I got tired of hearing my own complaints. That was my breaking point.

From that day on, I focused on myself—on what I could do. I focused on gaining knowledge. I started reading and applying what I learned, day after day. And here I am today. I know my journey is still long—I’m still young, I’ve only lived a third of my life—but now, I wake up every day and give thanks for the life I have. 🙏

In the end, the one who saved me was me.

You know those moments when we rush things—tripping over nothing, hitting our arms on furniture, bumping our heads, dropping things—everything goes wrong? 😅

Life is self-explanatory. In those moments, it’s showing you that rushing is not the way.

Whenever I catch myself starting to speed up, I stop, take a deep breath, and do what I need to do calmly. It doesn’t mean I do it slowly, but with a clear and steady mind.

I choose to wake up early every morning. I choose to read to exercise my mind. I choose to work out. I choose to face every problem that comes my way. I choose to create art every day and connect with myself. I choose to improve little by little each day.

I choose to live in such a way that, when it’s time to leave, I will leave satisfied with myself.

I choose to depart while still walking, heading toward the mountaintop.

How do you choose to live?

Nothing in this world truly belongs to us. The bond to what is said to be mine is purely declarative—a word, an illusion. I don’t think it’s worth clinging to illusions. 🤷‍♂️

We are all born with tigers to face—some small, others larger. It doesn’t matter much where we are born; there are always tigers we must defeat to reach the next level. So instead of complaining about the tigers life has given you, sharpen your katana.

I have already defeated some tigers that tormented me in the past, and I still have others to face. I advise you to face yours as well. ⚔️🐅

I recently came across this question while browsing the internet. To me, the answer is obvious: I’m doing all three at the same time. I can’t survive without first existing, and I can’t live without first surviving. Am I the only one who thinks this way? 🤔

Art model: @kagemusha.__ 🙇‍♂️

Zero point is where I am, where you are. You are not in the future, so don’t keep imagining; you are not in the past, so don’t keep dwelling on it.

Everything you can do is at the zero point, which is where you are right now. Always remember that.
