Russians want to exchange an American journalist for a killer

Moscow has raised the issue of exchanging Russian hitman Vadim Krasikov for American citizens - businessman Paul Whelan and journalist Evan Gershkovich, The Wall Street Journal reported.

FSB Colonel Krasikov is serving a life sentence in Germany for the murder of Chechen commander Zelimkhan Khangoshvili. Americans Paul Whelan and Evan Gershkovich are accused by the Kremlin of espionage.

In the Velyka Novosilka direction, AFU have been advancing in to Novomaiors'ke and according to rumors been able to gain foothold in the north part of the settlement. There has also been a minor advance west of Novodonets'ke.

Intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov is convinced that Russia's war against Ukraine will not last long.
