Yup. Once this method is up and running, you’ll be able to use it to curate any list whatsoever, including a list of recommended nostr relays. Maybe one list for paid relays, another list for free relays, etc.
Hopefully will be ready for testing soon. You’ll be able to make a new list, add items to the list, rate (thumbs up or down) items on the list (green arrows), and endorse (thumbs up or down) other users to be “curators” of the list (blue arrows). Curator endorsements are transitive.
Several methods to address the problem of sybil attacks; main one is that you can adjust the default influence given to unvetted users up or down with a slider. (Default is zero influence.)
List curation by web of trust using the Pretty Good Nostr desktop client.
The opacity of users (circles) and ratings (arrows) indicates how much influence they have on your WoT. The opacity of list items (diamonds) indicates how much confidence your WoT has in the item's calculated average score.

Anyone can: make a new list; add items to the list; endorse items as good or bad; endorse other users as trusted (or not) to curate this list.

Who would like to see web-of-trust curated lists on nostr?
Anyone can define a new list (name: “best btc hardware wallets”, description: “…”) using a note with some pre specified kind and tag system (possibly making use of NIP-16 and/or NIP-33)
Anyone can contribute items to that list, referencing the note id from the list definition (“Coldcard”)
Charlie can endorse items, again referencing the note id of the item (coldcard 👍🏻 or 👎🏻)
Bob endorses Charlie as a List Curator: good (or bad) at picking items for that list (not all lists, just that one).
Alice endorses Bob as good at picking List Curators. This is “trust” that flows transitively.
Collect data, crunch numbers, out pops your nostr-curated list. Ta da!
