If the blackout continues indefinitely Reddit will probably install new mods on the popular subs and force them back open.
People could overwrite their posts and comments with empty text before deleting them and their accounts but even then there are probably backups that could be restored. GDPR makes that a little more risky for Reddit to do however.
Realistically the only way for users to win is to not play the game. Just leave Reddit forever and let it die like Digg. Even if Reddit backtracks now I’m not sure they can ever be trusted again.
This is a very interesting idea

Which clients BTW?
I hope that does happen eventually.
Thank you 💜🫂🧡
Good morning dear friend ☀️☕️
Stay dry and have a wonderful day. Rain is in my future tomorrow as well.

That would be awesome. I don’t think he is here yet.
Absolutely is. Elon wants Twitter to become THE place for digital identity, verification, and payments.

I love it. Now they need to stay dark until Reddit reverses course. 48 hours isn’t going to do anything.
I can totally see that 😅

Ok, I know it’s been too long since I’ve done a giveaway, so 100 sats to the first five people to repost, tag a friend, and follow. https://nostr.build/av/9a647771eb16251fe0a560f3c6424842fe1ca8190de312082a1670cec29c567c.mov

Welcome to the #Reddit blackout. Hopefully these subs stay dark indefinitely until Reddit reverses course. 2 days isn’t going to do anything.
Though I could see Reddit installing new mods and forcing the subs back open.
