Developing on windows is always a funny experience

It's not about hating on the rich, it's about recognizing that the system can arbitrarily change the rules and redistribute wealth and assets.

The lower and marginal class never gets a level chance at getting ahead. The system benefits them the absolute least.

If the wealth gap was built on an eqitable set of rules that didn't change so severely, there wouldn't be this issue.

Today I'm grateful for supply chains and free markets.

I walk through the grocery store and see fresh fruits and vegetables from different areas all over the US. Novel foods I can try from different countries around the globe, each transported across oceans. All perfectly timed and supplied, not by a single entity, but by individuals following their own incentives around the planet. It's easy to walk by the colorful rows of the grocery store and not see the countless human hours and systems it takes to make these luxuries available to us, but today I choose to see it for the modern marvel that it is and and am just a little bit more appreciative to be a human being living in this time of bounty.

But yea it's a symptom of distorted value systems in my point of view. When people are taught that they have to lie cheat and steal to get ahead because their money is constantly being devalued it incentivizes them to exploit each other for extreme self interest.

There's nothing wrong with self interest of course though. It's just when you exploit others for self gain that I find it immoral.
