I put $75 per pay check into my investment funds

Except this week

We had an unexpected car repair of $395. Which we had to take out of our #emergencyfund and now are refilling for the next five pay checks.

So once a month we get pizza and I go off the wagon and have carbs.

I don’t have a battery system, and the city requires you to be connected.

I would need an additional 15 panels (which would not fit the roof) and $30k more in batteries.

We are saving up for a 12 hour battery to give us that much more resilience

Paid my #utility bill today.

Electric charge was $0, but I did have a $15 connection fee and taxes.

Before #solar we would have $300+ bills in the summer. So I’m not to annoyed.

Though LG&E is trying to increase the connection fees and hike rates while blaming me.
