Terminal:

defaults write -g InitialKeyRepeat -int 5

defaults write -g KeyRepeat -int 0

(Requires user logout to take effect.)

OSX tip:

If you are not using Tor on your mac yet do this.

$brew install tor

$brew services start tor

Or to start on boot:

$sudo brew services start

Now on the application you want just set SOCKS proxy to localhost port 9050

None of that GUI crap needed.
