Peter Ridd: “The Greenhouse effect is bigger than you think – so don’t worry about it too much”
The greenhouse effect should already be cooking the world - but something keeps it tame.

Conflicts of Interest in Climate Science: A Systemic Blind Spot
Moreover, the research found that funding from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) was a significant predictor of studies reporting a positive association between climate change and hurricane behavior.

The Great Antarctic Sea Ice Flipflop
In 2014 NOAA blamed record high sea ice on global warming. Now NSIDC blames record low sea ice on global warming.
CFACT Comments on the California Offshore Wind Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS)
In summary the so-called California Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement is nothing of the kind. The full Offshore Wind Program needs to be assessed for the entire West Coast before any project is approved for construction. This required assessment is Missing in Action.

The EPA’s Titanic Blunder: A $20 Billion Betrayal of Public Trust
In a staggering revelation, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin has uncovered a clandestine maneuver by the previous Biden administration, involving the allocation of approximately $20 billion in taxpayer funds to an external financial institution. This move appears to have been a deliberate attempt to circumvent potential budgetary constraints anticipated from the succeeding administration. The funds, earmarked for environmental projects under the Inflation Reduction Act, were distributed among eight entities, notably including the Climate United Fund.
Underestimating Clouds: A Climate Mistake We Cannot Afford
The time has come to reassess our approach to both climate science and energy policy. The stakes are too high to continue down a path of destructive policies based on erroneous analyses. We must prioritize reliable, affordable energy sources and grid stability over useless reductions in emissions of a harmless gas.

Wind Blowing Somewhere Does Not Solve the Intermittency Problem
Green energy advocates who minimize the challenge of transitioning the electric grid to wind and solar rely on the claim that the “wind is always blowing somewhere”. The 2024 wind energy data suggest otherwise. I have no doubt that a proper electric reliability resource planning analysis would verify that my intermittency concerns are real and that revolving the issues would be prohibitively expensive. Coupled with the grid support issues, the green dream of a wind and solar electric generating system is a fantasy that will never be viable.

Massive Antarctic Iceberg Calving Not Caused by Climate Change
“We use 47 years of iceberg size from satellite observations. Our analysis reveals no upward trend in the surface area of the largest annual iceberg over this time frame. This finding suggests that extreme calving events such as the recent 2017 Larsen C iceberg, A68, are statistically unexceptional and that extreme calving events are not necessarily a consequence of climate change.”
Where Will Miliband Get His Offshore Wind Farms From?
