In it for the freedom.

THNDR dropped a cool new game and Nostr badge integration, you get this one for just connecting your npub, and get other ones for getting to the top of the league in either Solitaire or (the new) Bitcoin Blocks.

Just wanted to point this out, that this was less than 4 months ago.

'trusted'

"Ledn financial services enable Bitcoiners to experience the benefits of their holdings today without selling their Bitcoin. Now, Ledn only supports Bitcoin and USDC, two of the highest quality and the most liquid assets in the industry..." -'What Bitcoin Did' ad read

He just can't catch a break.

Yeah. But they also halted usdc trading. Apparently they aren't too much affected.

(But we'll see) (I feel like these guys are horrible on crypto)

It might be because they always offer a 1:1 USDC for USD, unlike other exchanges which let it float. This is why it's so important that they shut down trading it. All the USDC from EVERY EXCHANGE would be coming their way and they would be out the difference of the arbitrage.

So Coinbase has a Guarantee with the USDC Stablecoin where they always will swap it for dollars 1:1, unlike other exchanges which let it float.

Because of this, basically Coinbase will have to cover the gap between USDC and USD as everyone from EVERY EXCHANGE takes their USDC to BRIAN ARMSTRONG .ETH for a BRAND NEW DOLLAR BILL!

They have a 1:1 guarantee where they Always give $1 for a USDC, instead of letting it float. Soooo, if it's a couple cents down, people can keep on arbing it.

They probably wouldn't have to delist it otherwise.... yet.

Look at this misleading headline. Lol. I see it now though.

They do a thing where they GUARANTEE a 1:1 USDC USD swap, so if it goes down to 96 cents, people can just arb it ALL DAY. so not suprised.

USDC and DAI (once a censorship resistant stablecoin, they add USDC, the founder tweets the pedo CIA is after him, ends up dead, $1.6 Billion USDC ends up getting custodied by Coinbase that week) are both trading between 98 and 99 cents. They may stick around for another day, despite $43 Billion (wow) of cash reserves at Silicon Valley Bank.

...actually if enough people withdraw...

Also, according to bankruptcy files, Blockfi has $227 Million of uninsured funds in a money market mutual fund. Bad news for people who listen to What Bitco...

Oh, okay... my bad used to Twitter where if I post anything about either implementation of collaborative transactions having to explain my position from someone who wants to fight me.

Sooo kukks, (Andrew, a btcpayserver maintainer) just totally unfucked wasabi's shit. Here's how. Wasabi is owned by a company zkSnacks, which owns the main coordinator. The fees they get for that coordinator partly go to PAY Chainanalysis to make sure no 'bad' Bitcoin go into the coinjoin. You could always make your coordinator, but you end up with low liquidity, and therefore a low anonymity set. But nowww, kukks made it super easy to spin up your own AND no matter what coordinator you use, they are now all mixed together, so you can avoid the chainanalysis, AND your fee goes to support Opensats.

Ok, he didn't unfuck their shit, but he made it so you can avoid their compromised coordinator.

This is pretty recent, found out about it on Citadel Dispatch, who found out about it from

Ever since Elon has cracked down on Twitter bots, it just shows how cool Nostr Bots are. Check out this one!

The biggest use of Lightning (by transaction count) existed a year ago, but had no real integration with Lightning yet. (It's Nostr)

It's hard to see these things coming.

Yeah, I think this is the real reason. Not bad attitudes, but being in the presence of one increases your chances of being sued exponentially.

Love this show. Reminds me of alot of the early internet stuff I remember.

Funny that the Lightning Web Browser-based wallet is calling itself "Mutiny"
