Yeah, I get it. But, if they really do go back to "no crypto" again, crypto folk will get another phone. How many people is that? I wouldn't think too many at all. But if it was enough people to get them to change their mind in 2014, it's certainly more than enough people to stop them from doing it now.
People did this in 2014. Back then Apple slowly removed EVERY SINGLE BITCOIN WALLET on their App Store. Only after enough protests did they bring them back. They might be starting their old shenanigans again.
Kinda near the place where you put your bio, there should be a place where you can put your Lightning Address. It should either say "LNURL" or "Lightning Address" or something like that or maybe just a Lightning bolt sign. Just copy the thing that looks like an email address ending in wallet if Satoshi, and you can receive zaps! Let me know next time you are back if you need more help.
After downloading the app, press "Receive" in the bottom left, and then the "Copy" button to copy your LNURL to your clipboard. (Yours will be different than mine)
Your LNURL will look kinda like an email address. One that ends in @ walletofsatoshi
Ok, zaps, are mini-tips of Bitcoin over Lightning. They can be as little as 1 Satoshi. 1 Satoshi is 1/100,000,000 of a Bitcoin or currently $0.00031 (USD)
All clients have the ability to zap profiles. All you need is an LNURL. (Short for Lightning Network URL.) Easiest way to get one is download Wallet of Satoshi.

Yeah. There's definitely some work on that. There's a chess game that runs on nostr, a Bitcoin coinjoin protocol that uses it, a chatbot thing, Twitter clones were just the first usecase, but this is really cool stuff. One of the coolest things is the fact that your account (your npub) you can take with you to anywhere in the network. So it's like the non-evil open source version of "log in with Google or Facebook." I think this part will be huge.
