Bon Bon's Nook exists to provide nourishment in the form of healthy food, community and music. It was started from my dream of a pop-up cafe offering cassava tortillas based on my own recipes. It represents a vibe and set of ideals that include: - Food can be healthy, nourishing and accessible - People can be empowered to make their own tortillas at home as an easy alternative to bread and (sometimes) inflammatory grains - Live music is incredibly powerful in unifying people to feel connected and inspiring peace - A business can be about spreading fun, goodness and magic Your friend and fellow Earth School attendee, – Sean Bon Bon

Time for a magical mystery tour? The AI painters seem to know a thing or two.

I'm new to primal & #Nostr, so posting a quick introduction here!

My name is Sean, I've been fascinated by the Internet and UI/UX design since the mid 1990's when I started making web pages and doing self-study graphic design during high school. After graduating in 1999, my career trajectory took me through running my own web design and hosting business, providing tech support to old dudes (and learning how to be very, very patient with them), and finally to burnout in 2012 when I took a step back from tech. Then in 2014 I founded a sugar free chocolate business with my friend Lydia called Pure Love Chocolate which still serves happy customers today. After finding I wasn't able to tolerate grains due to some health issues, I fell in love with making gluten/grain-free Cassava tortillas (cassava flour is made from a root vegetable that is also used for tapioca). This turned into a Tortilla Mix and a miniature pop-up cafe called Bon Bon's Nook.

So here I am in 2024, still straddling the tech worlds of the old and new, still using Facebook and YouTube, but also well aware of the exciting/emerging freedom-based alternatives such as Nostr etc.

I hope to bring some variety of content to this platform because my good friend tells me right now it's all mostly people going on and on about Nostr (which is great, but if we truly want people to ditch the big platforms, we need to expand the party a wee bit).

Your benevolent Tortilla Captain,

Sean Bon Bon
