there are not perfect solutions only tradeoffs

I understand the value proposition of #bitcoin and the risks of holding #gold which is an asset that can keep your purchasing power stable but

⬇️

1. risky to keep in your safe at home

2. super risky to keep in someone else vault

3. pay to have it in someone else vault

4. not portable unless you pay 3rd parties

5. non divisible

6. veey easy to counterfeit

7. very easy to seize. ... and i could go on.

for me all that make it too risky in an era where we move easily to places where we are treated best.

#bitcoin on the other hand improve all those negative aspects of #gold.

where i can see #gold as an edge is if for any reason there would be no Internet at all.

in that case #gold in your safe at home has an edge , not in someone else vault.... and still what is the value of gold in fiat currency that someone would be comfortable to keep at home ? maybe couple of grant if you ask me...

#bitcoin on the other hand... millions in fiat ... if you hold it in multisig wallets and still no third party involved, easy to move with you, perfectly divisible, UNCENSORABLE etc etc...
