p2p options are there and growing
This is Patanjali's yoga sutras at full speed.
My contention is firmly that being both bitcoiner and yogi improves life quality immensely.
At this point, is there still anyone on Nostr that hasn't taken his Bitcoin off the exchanges?
mince alors, et ça ça fonctionne ?

oui 🖖
Porting iris to use LokiJS in-memory database https://github.com/techfort/LokiJS
You can find the development version at https://beta.iris.to. Feed loading seems better already.

yes, it's much faster
on dirait que le lien ne fonctionne pas: "Désolé, vous n’avez pas l’autorisation de prévisualiser les brouillons."
It turns out there are hard limits to what they can do within the system
"Market forces, not political majorities, will compel societies to reconfigure themselves in ways that public opinion will neither comprehend nor welcome. As they do, the naïve view that history is what people wish it to be will prove wildly misleading." The Soveriegn Individual
por si acaso tengo un teclado francés asi q no me salen los acentos diacriticos 😄
algo no funciona cuando intento zapearte : "Could not determine service url"
Gen X too 😉 Badge might be fitting
Do you also have this feeling that people on Nostr are not as young as tech+btc+freedom vibes would let imagine?
Had never seen this clip. That clown used to be my teacher of Monetary Theory at university. He never gave the impression that he had even once looked critically at his dogmas.
I'm really not sure it will pan out as they describe.
But I find it very useful to adopt their framing to look at what's coming, in particular these 2 extracts:
"Market forces, not political majorities, will compel societies to reconfigure themselves in ways that public opinion will neither comprehend nor welcome. As they do, the naïve view that history is what people wish it to be will prove wildly misleading."
"the most important causes of change are not to be found in political manifestos or in the pronouncements of dead economists, but in the hidden factors that alter the boundaries where power is exercised. Often, subtle changes in climate, topography, microbes, and technology alter the logic of violence. They transform the way people organize their livelihoods and defend themselves."
So many Nostriches coffee drinkers. Somewhat off-putting to imagine the smell for the tea drinker I am.
Iris feed has been completely broken for me for a week now, with no improvement in sight. I mentioned to @sirius yesterday but he didn't comment.
I'm moving to Snort.
NostrGram overwhelms my senses way too much.
