Big quality of life success!!
it's too odd, can't be simulation xD
Artists can now promote their music in the Listen To Earn section on the Wavlake mobile app. This feature not only enhances music discovery but also offers a seamless and effective way to introduce fans to the emerging music economy powered by Lightning and Nostr. https://wavlake.com/studio/promos

Very cool!
Great to see innovative ways to engage with content.
Flipping around the relationship
Users can get paid to listen,
attention is value
it might be more like giving someone your sperm,
to sign things with
this is very interesting I'd love to know more about it! Also keen on doing academic work related to Nostr.
We think we solve this problem with the Attention Marketplace we are building at nostr:npub17vscfmnmshfdw68llhduxtr4h0kkmyhzm4phzs40t3gqsmguz7lsak66ne.
Right now there is no money coming in, only out via zaps. So people are pulling from their own Bitcoin. If they have any.
Through an Attention Marketplace, people set the price of their Attention, the marketplace matches them with advertisers who will pay that price. They watch the ad, get paid, then keep scrolling. Overtime, they will have earn sats to give out, fully funding the value4value model.
this sounds cool
Transgender Exclusive Radical Feminist. It's a rabbit hole. The tl;dr is that a long time ago I wrote this blog post, which I still think is pretty reasonable and nuanced but challenges a mainstream leftist perspective, and they're still mad about it. https://archive.ph/vgTBH
I would agree it is quite nuanced and reasonable
but hey, at least it's censorship resistant 😆
it's definitely getting increasingly less interesting to read the same daily digest of nostr enthusiasm ...
the digital innards of a ruminating cow
we could see bitcoin as measuring the experiment
I was recently feeling bad about how lazy I am when it comes to curating my relays and setting up relay lists.
Then it occurred to me, life’s too short to manage relays actively. If I’m not going to do it, then no one is.
We need super simple tools or patterns built into all the major nostr clients that help to default users to relays that make sense for them. Obviously these wouid need to take into account decentralization but I think it can be done.
Feels like a hard design problem more than an engineering problem. nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac nostr:npub149p5act9a5qm9p47elp8w8h3wpwn2d7s2xecw2ygnrxqp4wgsklq9g722q nostr:npub10000003zmk89narqpczy4ff6rnuht2wu05na7kpnh3mak7z2tqzsv8vwqk
besides social media like experiences,
I imagine honest and efficient use cases of relays that are location dependent.
e.g. "airbnb-like" or marketplace listings stored on relays in the city of interest
Would you want to see what the people you follow reacted to, on your regular feeds?
I know it sounds like shitcoinery but if it was a choice that I could turn off I would want to explore it myself.

I don't see why that would be shitcoinery, or better, anti-ethos.
but open to change my mind!
Ah, make sure you look at it under Asciidoc rendering nostr:npub1amqxj7kv2f04kdnhj2q7n64jgtzga62m2fwp5n73n2anucys268sycx3tc, or fix the end of the link, if it's one of the old markdown wiki clients.
I found the link in the event added a weird "[Code" suffix, from the [Code of Canon] title ...
I see, the wikifreedia link works. I saw your event on Amethyst.
I get a 404 page not found on the Vatican link
silly question, what's the purpose of Nostur? What do you guys use it for?
Love your memes btw <3
might it have been open by the time you got there, taking travel time into account?
indeed, any such change is likely intentional...
Huge shoutout to nostr:npub1qu7dsd44275lms4x9snnwvnnmgx926nsppmr7lcw9dlj36n4fltqgs7p98 !! what an amazing app!!
I created a survey in 15 minutes. Sent it out. And people are filling the survey with no requirements of ID or anything! its amazing!
There is also a slight chance that someone might be interested to know what formstr is, and maybe it purple pills someone along the way!
#nostr will win

definitely, anonymity in voting is essential, so it needs to be figured out how we can create such anonymous votes. Even in much simpler applications polls are very useful and could easily be integrated into NOSTR. I think thed be particularly interesting for the interoperability of the protocol.
Curious you mention Peer review because I'm in academia now and actually think it would be a really cool use case for nostr: to set up a peer review system.
A required feature would be "reputation", and I think this is something we haven't quite cracked yet. But please correct me if I'm wrong.
I like the way you think, and it sounds like you've had some substantial experiences.
I kind if feel like many of the tools from those ecosystems, like NFTs and DAOs are solutions in search of a problem. They have no clear use cases yet. The proposed use cases rest on invalid assumptions about the ways that we govern our social systems.
I'd be interested to hear more about your perspective.
