A cray 3 module. Anyone guess why they went to white and blue from gold and black? ⁦@sempre_usa⁩ https://t.co/IpEGGDI7q4

Unfortunately not surprising. They have dug themselves in deep.

I personally spoke to protestors who’d been beaten after the Xi - Trump summit at Mar-a-Lago. This type of violence has been going on for a long time. It’s long past time our government did something about it. https://t.co/42Fig82DoR

I don't think that there is any way that we are going to see the Palestinians or Hamas change their tune no matter what the Israelis do. This is the problem that we have.

I spent over a decade in DC. And I can say without a doubt the executive branch is highly politicized in DC. It’s hard not to be. Take a look for yourself. This is how DC voted in 2016. If there are Republicans in DC, and we can assume there are, they voted overwhelmingly for Clinton. Or they abstained. This is a duopoly where only one party is considered to have a valid candidate. So in essence it has become a uniparty. 2024 is no different. Call it what you want, but you cannot say given the extreme partisanship we experience on a day to day basis that the executive branch has not been politicized.

The media does its best to frame political campaigns around the candidates, but rarely do they explore the motivations behind why a certain candidate is appealing. It would be nice if the media spent more time profiling the American people. They should try to identify the policies that they are concerned about, and ask the question why? Maybe then they could reclaim their position in our republic. Alas, that is fanciful. They are corporate propagandists. Journalism in America has died amidst massive corruption and foreign influence.

It’s hard to believe any administration would behave this way. Corrupt.

Don’t forget the many who swore an oath. The many should not forget the oath they swore.

Sounds like an anti-trust case to me.

I think when you add the effort to allow voting without ids you can make the case we no longer live a democracy. It is a system where a political party controls who votes and who is eligible to run for election. Sounds like China to me.

I guess in a society that doesn’t value men, more men would want to stop being men. The irony is that they then become women who hate women.

If you agree we are in a Cold War (meaning we are not in a hot war that would involve nuclear weapons) with Russia, China, Iran and North Korea the BRI and BRICS along with a majority of the global south and you agree that the US won the first Cold War, then here are some things to consider: 1) The means of production has shifted from the US to the side mentioned above 2) We have a digital environment where active measures, which were blunted during the first Cold War, are in play at the level of the citizenry and the side mentioned above clearly has the upper hand 3) The corporate, financial and academic sectors of the West have been captured by the side mentioned above, then 4) we are not in a position to defend our way of life and 5) unless things change are likely to lose
