Check out Elixir and OTP, which is the runtime that makes it work. It's been built by Ericsson and been running whole telephone networks since the 90's
Relay operators... imagine as an admin, get inside the relay with a shell and see sockets as processes... being able to debug them on the fly... that's what I'm working on.
