Absolute freakshow

“Who said I farted in court? Well it was a yuge one”

Guy pops up out of nowhere and starts shilling keet. I have questions.

The reason I bring up contracting like that, is that once you get going you’ll essentially need someone to take over and manage. Your free time expands based on that aspect. Most guys can’t let go and just become micro managers of their business… eh I get it, “if I want it done right, I have to do it myself”. The guys that I have worked for before just stay in the office all day and then picked apart work by the subs. Just wanted to be the “boss man”. I’ve made it a point to back off of that. Pick good people, Let them do the work. Saves me time and stress.

Get into general contracting. Any good at managing? You are likely good with tools. Contract out what you know at first, then expand. Don’t get into debt. Takes about 2 years to really get going. If you are willing to promote yourself and work hard, $6500 a month is chump change. Working for yourself is always promoted as great… I’ll tell you right now, they aren’t even doing it justice. I love it everyday more and more.
