LITERATURE:
A team of writers, and support staff work hard every month to prepare over 20,000 copies of the Fountain of Joy leaflet (よろこびの泉) to be distributed into the communities of about 350 different churches throughout Japan.
People are moved as they read stories about other Japanese who are transformed by the life-changing power of the Gospel.
The leaflets are designed so that churches can stamp them with their local contact information. When they are distributed throughout their communities readers know where to go to connect with a community of believers. This makes it possible to connect thousands of people to local churches.

SEPTEMBER START:
We are full steam ahead again with various ministries. It has been about a week since churches have re-started their English outreach programs after a Summer break.
Pray with us for the Japanese church leaders and missionaries as we give ourselves to love and care for each one the Lord brings to these churches. May they truly encounter the Lord, as the gospel is preached and our hands and feet are used to touch their lives.

SHORT TERM OUTREACH
We began to loose count of the number of groups that visited JM so far in 2024 that we put together a map. Last week our first volunteer from Romania put in his pin for us! So thankful…

RUN!!
This week the Lord brought Jack Adams to JM. He departed on Day 30 of his run from the very bottom of Japan right to the TOP!!
The run is aimed at bringing awareness, attracting volunteers, raising support, and creating partnerships to reverse the loneliness epidemic in Japan.
Pray with us that the Lord would meet the lonely here in Japan.

GOLDEN WEEK
Last week was one of the most festive times of the year in Japan known as Golden Week. The period included four national holidays and stretched from 29 April to May 5th.
It was one of the busiest times of year for travel as millions of people made the most of the extended time off and beautiful spring weather. Traffic all over the country was INCREDIBLE! After a week of hard play it’s back to work for Japan.
I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. - Lev. 26:4
