last night I felt like being trapped in the audio track of a porn movie.
Right now I'm sitting on the balcony, having a coffee with a friend and listening to the city slowly waking up.
Long weekends are the best.

Strange woman on the train today.
When I'm travelling between my hometown and Zurich I book and reserve a seat in the first class. Always at the window and always with a big table for my laptop.
Today I came to my seat and opposite was a woman wearing one of those covid masks. I said hello and got my laptop set up.
After a minute she went through her purse, pulled out another mask and placed it next to my laptop. She said that this is for me and I can wear it. I politely declined.
That didn't sit well with her 😆. She started to tell me that I am selfish and making her feel unsafe. Next she asked if I could at least sit somewhere else. I didn't want to go deeper into the discussion and pointed at the sign above the seat telling her that I paid to sit exactly where I want to sit. I didn't tell her to sit somewhere else.
She kept rambling on and on. I had enough and started fake coughing every now and then. That helped and she finally went to find another seat.
You might think end of story, but no! When they checked the tickets she just had a second class one. After she refused to leave the first class cause second class was full, she got fined and removed at the next stop.
The rest of the trip was very relaxing and productive.

most of my colleagues stayed at home today. all caught a nice cold.
So I'm not going to the office tomorrow, instead I'll be working on a train to Germany.
Oh mighty train WiFi, do me good and stay with me till the end of my journey.
politics isn't about finding solutions for problems. it's about making up problems that are none and "fixing" those. those fixes usually cause real problems that politicians don't care about.
just ask yourself how did we end up with income tax rates close to 50%?
that, next to printing money, is the solution to many problems that I just can't see.
