Random thought, but I believe that Valorant attracting more casual gamers than League comes down to four reasons.
Valorant is more accessible and less complex.
Valorant has shorter game modes which you can squeeze into your schedule more easily.
Valorant is available on consoles.
League is not a lot of fun when played alone.
