Bonus: a friend of mine put me in contact with someone high up in HSBC to talk about it, but they refused to talk to me because I posted this meme πππ
Don't think he likes being reminded who he works for π

More and more banks are doing this.
HSBC told me they're limiting all cryptocurrency related transactions recently.
I use Robosats anyway but moved banks regardless. Been meaning to do it already, that just gave me the kick I needed.

nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 Olympus alpha bug report: whenever I open the app, all my channels show as offline until I manually refresh them on the channels tab. It only takes a second to work afterwards, but it means the node is offline before then, so for example if I use it to zap it'll fail unless it's already running in the background.
Thought my phone was being Stingray'd at first, freaked me out lmao
Some people did... most got rekt instead.
Casino gonna casino. The house always wins.
GrapheneOS connectivity check server is down.
If like me your GrapheneOS phone is failing to get mobile data and throwing up "limited connectivity" errors on both data and WiFi, change internet connectivity checks to Google or simply disable them. Turn airplane mode off and on. Reboot if this doesn't work.
Just spent almost an hour troubleshooting this. So thought I'd save everyone else the hassle.

I do not believe Bitcoin will usher in an egalitarian utopia simply because that is not how people are - you would have to change human nature first.
But I do believe it is a significant step towards a true meritocracy, for as long as society is split between those who can control and create money and those who cannot, socioeconomic mobility will remain a pipe dream.
By removing that power from the hands of humans and passing it up to the neutral laws of mathematics, Bitcoin creates equality of opportunity.
There has never been and never will be a limitation on the ability to stack sats. Even if states enact laws: "we can code faster than you can regulate." (See: Robosats in response to KYC and Bitcoin bans, Silk Road and the continuing growth of new DNMs in response to the war on drugs, etc.)
A true free market without state intervention (or where such intervention can be bypassed) is a beautiful thing that by nature must cater to the needs of the people. The most democratic system in history.
We don't need a centralised group of elites dictating our needs to us.
Alpine Linux as a desktop OS is super underrated
No such thing as an excess of sats that's the only exception π

Just be careful my fren. Always. Sending good vibes ur way.
I got plenty of experience with ket it's clean stuff and very safe unless taken in excess (like anything in life) but I only have a gram π
Gonna be in the history books
Bitcoin and Nostr will go down in history
Because history is written by the victors
