💢 US may withdraw from NATO
Former Pentagon chief Mark Esper said that in his second administration, Donald Trump "may initiate a withdrawal from NATO, the withdrawal of US troops from Korea and Japan, and possibly a weakening of relations with Taiwan."
Trump has repeatedly criticized the work of the alliance, noting that Europe avoids financial responsibility for its own security and threatened the US with the withdrawal from the alliance.
