Blueskyが初期のtwitterに似てるというのは、まだ人が少なく平和だという以上に、思想と設計の新しさに戸惑いつつこれまで知らなかった自由を感じるからじゃないか。Twitterではマイクロブログという形式に初めて触れ、Blueskyではアルゴリズムのカスタムとシェアという思想を初めて体験している。
画期的なのは利用者がアルゴリズムをコントロールしシェアできる仕組み、と書いたほうがよかった。要するにカスタムフィード。
ATプロトコル自体は今他に使ってるサービスがないのでBlueskyは事実上中央集権型ネットワークと言えるけれど、コンテンツモデレーションを利用者がコントロールしそれをシェアできる仕組みなのが画期的なのかな。
