You also receive a Private Key, called an ānsecā, which must be kept confidential. Itās important to ensure your nsec remains private to secure your account.
If youāre using a computer instead of the Primal app, browsers based on Googleās Chromium (like Chrome, Brave, or Edge) work best.
To log in securely with a browser, itās recommended to use an extension called nos2x. You can install it from the Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/nos2x/kpgefcfmnafjgpblomihpgmejjdanjjp
Once installed, you can enter your nsec into the nos2x extension. From then on, any website compatible with the Nostr protocol will prompt you to authorise it through the extension to ālog ināāeliminating the need to copy and paste your nsec into websites. This method is far more secure and helps prevent accidental exposure of your private key.
