One year ago, we set out on a mission—to educate, empower, and drive Bitcoin adoption across Africa. Today, we celebrate a year of relentless Proof-of-Work!
HERE ARE SOME OF WHAT WE'VE BEING ABLE TO ACHIEVE IN A YEAR:
➡️ Introduced new people to Bitcoin through our physical activities, Bitcoin Diploma cohorts, educational content, and dedicated efforts.
➡️ Hosted our first physical Bitcoin meetup.
➡️ Made awesome Bitcoin Friends.

➡️ Spoke at a Bitcoin Conference in Nigeria (Naija Bitcoin Conference) where we shared insights on our efforts and also shared Bitcoin stickers gifted to us by nostr:npub1ekqd9ntmm2sx94qvp7urpev906nttm6ezn4fd3y0q5hp5xv225fqqjq22r.
➡️ Orange-pilled strangers, shop owners & even spoke in church on Bitcoin.
➡️ Took Bitcoin to the streets of Lagos, Ikorodu, by randomly introducing Bitcoin to the people.
➡️ Became a LIGHT NODE with nostr:npub17cyatz6z2dzcw6xehtcm9z45m76lde5smxdmyasvs00r4pqv863qrs4ml3 and launched our online Bitcoin Diploma Program.
➡️ Graduated 20 Bitcoiners into the ecosystem and expect to welcome more.
➡️ Ran 2 successful online Bitcoin Diploma cohorts, are currently running one, and expect to run more.
➡️ Built a growing Alumni network for our graduates, where we aim to offer mentorship, support their Bitcoin journey by sharing resources, and host monthly sessions with expert speakers to provide deep insights as we plan bigger opportunities for them.
➡️ Inspired and contributed to the efforts of RETSHEPILE, an alumnus of our cohort, and his team in building a Bitcoin-only project in South Africa called Bitcoin Sisonke.
